The members of the Horseless Carriage Club of New Zealand wish to express their condolences and wishes to Dennis and his wider family at the passing of Roslyn. From their joining of the club. Roslyn was always volunteering to help and assist at every opportunity. Her support in attending meetings and car shows was outstanding and we know that she did realise her dream of an Austin Seven. 
She will be sadly missed by all and will not be forgotten as the lovely  friendly lady with a smile and great conversations.




I have the sad task of informing members that on 6th June 2025 Geof Roberts passed at the age of 88 years. A service will be held at all Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Thursday 12th June at 10am . In lieu of flowers, donations to Totara Hospice would be appreciated
The Horseless Carriage Club has been the foundation and focus of many friendships. Geof and his wife Jeanette were no exception and we enjoyed their company immensely. With the passing of Geof, each of those memories are rekindled and we are reminded of the great joy of good friendships. We have lost a great friend who added so much to the running of our club. Geof did not drive a veteran car but supported those who did as backup on tours.  He organised social events and Christmas functions and held  gatherings at their home. Indeed an all-round supporter and a "great guy". Always with a smile in every respect. His contributions at board meetings were invaluable and brought formality that was so helpful. I am sure that there are many stories to be told.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Jeanette and their family at this time.
